We will be open on Fridays starting March 8, 2019. Because of the high demand of these end of the week appointments, these slots will fill up quickly. Please contact us to set up your appointment.
St. Patrick’s Day is only a couple of weeks away. As you enjoy yourself on this festive occasion, please keep in mind a few things that can affect your oral health:
- Green dye found in food and drink can stain your teeth. Avoiding or limiting these “green” food and drink items will keep your smile from getting dark and dull.
- Brush your teeth as soon as possible. It is very important to brush as soon as possible after consuming these items as the longer this dye stays on your teeth, the more darker they will become.
- Start whitening as soon as possible. We have in-home bleach trays and whitening kits. Just remember you need to wait at least a couple of hours after whitening your teeth before consuming any items that can lead to teeth staining. So don’t think about whitening your teeth right before you head out on the town that evening. It is also a great time to think about joining our Whitening for Life Club.
As always, our Columbia, SC dentist and team is ready to help you maintain your oral health this year. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need to schedule your checkup and cleaning or are having any issues.
